Dr Graham Jones MBChB, DA(UK), FRCA

Dr Graham Jones is a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He graduated from the Victoria University of Manchester in 1983 and trained in Anaesthesia in Manchester and the North West region. He subsequently spent one year as Clinical Instructor in Anaesthesiology at the University of California Irvine and Orange County Medical Centre. He returned in1992 to take up his Consultant post. He has a special interest in anaesthesia for upper limb surgery and in particular the use of regional anaesthetic nerve blockade. He has extensive experience in the use of local anaesthesia for operative and post operative pain relief allowing earlier physiotherapy, mobilisation and discharge.
